There are a few reasons you may be having trouble signing in to your account. We’ve provided potential reasons for that and troubleshooting steps to perform.

Check that your sign-in credentials are correct

Passwords are case-sensitive and being off by a single letter will affect your ability to sign in.

If you believe you’re entering the correct username and password and still can’t sign in, we recommend resetting your password by visiting the password assistance page on Amazon. 

If you’ve recently signed out of the app, you might receive a generic error message when you attempt to sign in again. The error message will trigger an email with a one-time password. Please use the one-time password to sign in and update your password to something new.

Note: This password will only be valid for 10 minutes. The email will come from Amazon with no reference to Audible. 

Check your app version

Update the iOS app

1. Open the App Store.
2. Select your profile icon.
3. Find the Audible app.
4. Select Update.

Note: If you don’t see the Audible app, you may need to swipe down to refresh your list of available updates.
  

Update the Android app

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Select your profile icon.
3. Select My apps & games.

Find the Audible app in the Updates pending list.

Note: An update will only display if there’s one available to download. If you’re using an older device that doesn’t support the latest version of the app, you can continue to listen to all of your audiobooks on another compatible device or in the Audible Cloud Player.
